Missionary Program

Thank you for your interest in visiting Grace Ministries Uganda, a.k.a Missionary Link Africa. We only desires that God’s created image (humanity) shall at all costs be in the Savior’s loving arms. That, to those who do not know him yet, the lost and fallen, may all be brought back to Him just as He commissioned “…go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15. I feel seasons everywhere with blessings in the air. There cannot be any right time of an overflowing harvest than this.  For our Lord beckons, “who shall I send?” Both you and us can be sent. And by teaming up, pooling our resources together, so much will be realized in so very many ways.

We are greatly honored by your work as a missionary. Participating in our activities require no professional requirements. You will typically share common characteristics such as flexibility, compassion and a sense of humor.

Opportunities for ministry abound at all times for both evangelism and childcare ministries. This will therefore give you an opportunity to get involved in a range of activities in both categories. We ask that you come with willing hands. There are countless opportunities to minister to the poor and poor in spirit.

The vision of the missionary program

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is our Lord, God, King, Savior and Friend.  He has an awesome plan of hope and purpose for Uganda. Grace Ministries Uganda is called to serve this purpose by being led of the Holy Spirit and building for Him. The team God has established through Grace Ministries Uganda is like David’s mighty men, so focused on their King and abandoned to His purposes that we will fight for Him until the swords are frozen in our hands!

The GMU missionary program is designed mainly for those with a call into Christian service and ministry. There are two main areas of focus for the GMU missionary/Volunteer program: Evangelism and childcare.  In addition to these areas, volunteers/missionaries have the opportunity to serve in the ministry of helps, home missions, and more

Evangelism

The great commission tells us to go into all the world and make disciples of the nations. The Evangelism ministry gives you an opportunity to take the extreme love of Jesus to the communities of Uganda and to preach the gospel to the un-evangelized communities.  The evangelism ministry is carried out strategically through door to door preaching, street and market preaching, schools ministry and the life week program at institutional level, hospital and prison ministry, crusades and seminars. All evangelism programs are ongoing.

Unlike the childcare ministry, this missionary program is designed for missionaries with a fairly strong foundation of Christian values, basic Bible doctrine, established devotional and worship life, and who desire to thrust into radical Kingdom life and ministry. Missionaries will volunteer their time and talents on an as needed basis. Missionaries will need to be diligent, physically healthy, humble, teachable, and eager to grow in Christian character and faith.
